The Full Story

About Me
 

Terrance L. Crockett Jr. was born in Bristol, TN. He currently serves as a Staff Sergeant in the United States Army. Terrance started his musical journey singing. As a boy, Terrance sang at his grandfather’s church in Virginia with his sister. During his adolescent years, Terrance’s father also tried to teach him to play the piano. Terrance moved from Tennessee to Virginia and then to Michigan. Living in Southfield, MI, Terrance started playing drums at the church his father also played at. He was taught by the drummer there and progressed so well that he became the church drummer. At the start of 6th grade, Terrance was introduced to a whole different realm of music by his band teacher, now mentor, Mr. Randy Scott. Terrance learned to read, write music and play the Alto Saxophone. Terrance perfected his skills on the saxophone and learned the ins and outs of not only the Alto Sax but also the Soprano, Tenor and Baritone saxophones. During his 8th grade year, Terrance finally picked up the piano and keyboard. Terrance played all these instruments all through high school and still does currently. After high school graduation, Terrance enlisted in the Army. While serving in Afghanistan, he picked up audio engineering and producing. During this time Terrance started focusing his attention on composing and producing music. Terrance has written & arranged many songs including "The Wedding March"performed at his wedding. He is currently working on his first single titled “We Made It”.

Education & Certification

Terrance Crockett is a graduate of FullSail University with a Bachelor of Arts in Audio Production.
